going live
first time blogging can be a bit daunting but there are lots of great reasons why you might take it up....a place to reflect on your experiences
- share what you are thinking
- let friends and family know what you are up to
- create a digital space to record and curate resources related to a particular interest, activity, trip job, project etc
- a way to get feedback and ideas from others...expanding your thinking horizons
A blog can be a way to create your own (or students') eportfolios - think scrapbook/journal/evidence of activity and learning. You can share it by emailing links to a particular audience and/or leave it open to web searching.
You can add images
video
web links
to follow other blogs.... or take your readers to any website you want.
and there are a whole host of gadgets that add extra functionality to your blog; almost like creating your own website
